Spotify doesn't accept Revolut card for international users

Hello community, I have tried to pay my premium subscription with my Revolut card, but it says "Your payment method and country don't match. To continue, change your account's location or use a different payment method."

Location: Romania

If I change to UK, the price automatically increases from 4,99 EUR/month to 9,99 GBP/month.

Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

thanks for posting !

To complete the payment process for a Premium account a user must choose a country of origin and provide a matching payment method.

If you're located in Romania and and chose it as your account country you will not be able to complete the process by using a payment method that wasn't issued in Romania.
