Spotify free but being charge every month

Hi! I checked my account in Spotify and in subscription, it says there that I am currently spotify free but I was charged every month in my credit card with the amount of $9.99. How can I cancel the monthly payment?

Hey @emil06,

I'd recommend searching for any additional accounts that you may have: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_help/do-i-have-an-additional-account/.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi @Maxim,

I found out that I am connected with spotify through my facebook and I
already remove the apps in my facebook because I used different email
account in my facebook that I can no longer access. Does that mean I will
not be charge monthly anymore? Thanks in advance.

No, that won't cancel your subscription at all.

Have you tried logging into the account on https://spotify.com?

Yes I did. And there is no way I can cancel the monthly payment or even
change my mode of payment because what is appearing on my account is im on
spotify free.

Thanks for letting me know.

I'd recommend reaching out to Support, so they can try to cancel your subscription:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
