Spotify premium account off-line mode does not work iphone

My Question or Issue

 The off-line mode does not work on spotify. All songs and palylist are marked as downloaded however, while trying to play them, I get a "you need to go on-line message". This is really embarassing as if I pay spotify this is just for this feature.

I tried restarting the phone and the app, does not work.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try a quick clean reinstallation of the app? Just follow the steps here.

After again and again having the application crashed, I moved to Apple Music. That fixed all issues I had with Spotify. Too bad that Spotify does not put more effort in the quality of their Apple Watch application.
