Spotify premium stopped working

Spotify premium stopped working

iPhone X 

spotify premium has stopped on myself and my fiancé’s accounts but we still have our playlists on the account .. this is an inconvenience and we pay our bills on time every month

I'll be happy to help. Can you login to your account (https://www.spotify.com/account) and tell me if your subscription status shows as 'Free' or 'Premium'? Also, could you try logging out/in of your account to see if that helps?

Hi, thanks! Yeah it’s free but I’ve never changed it and haven’t changed my subscription plan. It’s only since there was an update a few days ago. 

Tried logging out and in again twice, it still hasn’t changed.

I'd recommend resubcribing to Premium here. If you'd like Premium for Family, you can subscribe here. Please make sure that you are subscribing to an account you already have instead of a different one. You can also check the Receipts page to check your receipts at anytime.

 

Also, keep in mind that your payment card needs to be enabled for foreign purchases, and online and recurring transactions. You may need to have the payment card set up for 3D Secure online transactions.

It’s fine I’ve just got a new phone contract and I get free premium I’ll just get it with that thanks anyway!

There are many reasons why your Spotify Premium account doesn't work. Follow the steps to fix problem.

 

1. Restart your Phone.

2. Logout your account and login again.

3. Clear your Phone cache.

5. Remove app and install it again from your App store.
