My Question or Issue

Hi I was just hired today and had just cancelled my previous Spotify Students Premium. I go to put my Starbucks Global User Name in and my Last name in on the  spotify.com/starbuckspartners website; however, the error popped up saying, "Something went wrong. Please check that the information you have entered is correct and review the guidelines to ensure you are eligible."

Okay, I'm gonna take an educated guess on this one...

 

You said you were just hired today.

 

Spotify probably doesn't know that you are a Starbuck's employee yet.

 

FYI: Spotify and Starbucks are partners. They are not one company. So Starbucks has to send Spotify a file that contains a list of all their eligible employees. That information changes periodically, because people get hired, fired, or quit. And I'm willing to bet that Spotify does not send Starbucks a updated file every day.

 

It's may be a monthly thing. Or maybe every two weeks, when they run payroll.

 

Your Starbucks employee ID is not going to work until Spotify gets an updated file.
