My Question or Issue

I was using the student discount for the last year. I had expected the rate of $4.99 to be maintained after I had renewed my subscription. However, I was charged $10.65, which is reflective of the regular Spotify subscription rate. I would like a refund for the discrepancy in amounts, as I am certain that I renewed my student account last month.

Usually if they switched you over from Student Premium to Standard Premium, this means that you didn't recently verify that you were a student in the email they sent you. However, you could reapply to the Student Discount after you sort out the $10 fee. Go to this link and it will guide you to contact Spotify.
