Student abroad

Hi, I'm a student abroad. So I use my norwegian bank card. Getting locked out because of the 14 day abroad limit. I don't have a bankcard in the country abroad, but I'm also unable to change the country since spotify payment tells me the card is from another country. What to do? I tried using a VPN for workaround but that didn't work either.

Hey @erkkiboy83,

If you’re enrolled with a university that’s eligible for Spotify's student discount, you can take advantage even if you’re abroad.

However, your account’s country settings need to match the country of your university, and your payment method needs to have also been issued in that same country. For help with this, check out their guide for country settings.

yes, this is a problem. Since my bank account is foreign in the country of
studies.
to get a new bank account for spotify only and for only half a year seems a
little unnecessary?

That's the only way to get the Student Discount when you're studying abroad though.
