My Question or Issue

 Hi,

 

I have used Spotify premium for several years, paying 99SEK per month. Around June, I signed up for the student discound and that month 49SEK was charged instead. However, I just noticed that I have been charged 149SEK per month since July, which I assume for some reason is for the family plan.

 

Why is this?? I have never switched to the family plan, and in total I've been paying 500SEK too much over this period. Could you put that money back to my account, and make my account wiht the student discount again?

It's only possible to have an account upgraded by going to our website and logging in with your account.

 

If you think another person has done this, be sure to follow these steps to secure your account.

 

Take a look at this page regarding refunds if you don't think your account has been accessed by an unauthorized person.

Thank you, @Guido.  Turns out, after contact with the Spotify support, that my account had seen suspicious activity. This all was resolved by them by blocking the account, getting verification that I owned it and so access was given back again, and refunding of the excessive amounts charged.

 

Thus, the problem was fixed through the Spotify support 🙂
