My Question or Issue

i updated my account to apply the student discount since I’m in college. On the app it says I’m still going to be billed for premium but when I log into my account online it says I have the student. How do I make sure that I don’t get charged for premium AND student?

Hey @Austenholland01, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

First, please make sure that you have not subscribed to both Premium Student and Individual on different accounts. To confirm, you can tap your profile in the top left hand corner > Account on the Spotify app. If that email address does not match what is shown on your account page here, that means you will need to log into that account to cancel the subscription

 

If it does match what you’re seeing on your account page on the web, then you can just reinstall the app to refresh any account changes made (in this case, verifying your student status to get the discount).
