Subscribe again after switching accounts

Hey there! I recently decided that I wanted a new username, so I created a new account since that is not yet an available option. I cancelled the premium subscription of my old account today, but I can't subscribe again with my new one. It keeps trying to give me a free 30 day trial, which I naturally used with my old account already, so I suppose the problem is that it recognizes my Paypal and thus doesn't allow me to subscribe because I've already used up a trial with that account. My question is if there is a way to fix this? I don't want to delete my old account (or transfer the playlist) for a few reasons, so I'm hoping that this can be fixed without deleting the old account.

Hey @oneiromancer

It looks like you're having some type of authorisation issue there with PayPal. You could contact PayPal to know what's preventing you from using it to get your Premium.

Also, you should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to see what's going on within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you. 🙂
