I have a problem with my account

The app took money from my debit automatically without any confirmation first recently. I learned that I could cancel my subscription yet the remaining days would still stay the same but that doesn't seem to be the case. Why is it that after taking funds from my debit and cancelling premium soon after does not add to the remaining days?

Thanks for posting about this here in the Community!


Based on your screenshot, it looks like you successfully cancelled your Premium subscription and that your Premium will expire on the 9th of October. 


Keep in mind that if you cancel around your usual billing date, it’s possible your next payment will be already processed and your Premium subscription will expire on your next one.


If you see any further charges after that date, we'd recommend making sure that you don't have any other accounts with us that could be on Premium. You can find more info on how to check this in this Spotify Answer
