My Question or Issue

I have had a Spotify Premium account for 10 years, and the subscription fee has always been charged, including on August 11th, 2024. However, as of today, my account is no longer Premium, even though the payment was made.

Hey @Telusion91

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

After that, check the status of your subscription. If everything looks ok, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Thank you for the tip. It shows Spotify Free, for whatever reason this was changed... The subscription fee was charged less than a month ago, so it should still be Premium. I also didn’t cancel anything. Logging in again, which seems to be the universal solution according to this forum, obviously doesn’t work (and was the first thing I tried). How can I get direct support to look into this and resolve my issue?

Best regards,

Hey @Telusion91

Did you get email receipts from previous subscription purchases? Search for one of them in your email account. In it, the Spotify username you paid for is shown:

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

If it shows as Spotify Free, you could be paying a different account that the one you usually use.

You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter (X), you can tweet @SpotifyCares or message Spotify Cares Facebook.
