Switch back from Duo to individual does not refund voucher months

Switch back from Duo to individual does not refund voucher months

Hey there, I accidentally switched to Duo when I had 12 months of individual premium already paid for with a voucher. I now only have 6 months in Duo. Reverting back to individual still shows only 6 months of premium left. I want my original 12 months of individual premium back. How can I do that?

Hey @tweefo,

Thanks for reaching out.

When you redeem a Gift Card, it adds Premium Individual time to your account based on the card’s value. If you decide to upgrade to Premium Duo, your remaining Individual time gets converted into Duo time, adjusted to match the higher plan’s pricing.

Because the conversion can’t be reversed, your remaining Premium time stays the same even after switching back to Premium Individual.

Keep in mind that you’ll stay on the Premium Duo plan until the Premium time that’s been added using a Gift Card has run out.

I understand this can be a bit frustrating, but hopefully, this clears things up! 🙂
