My Question or Issue

I would like to change my subscription from Family to Duo but it doesn't work.

I just get a red alert box saying I'm not eligible for such a plan

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

Let's start through some steps, first...

Are you the manager of the Family Premium or are you a dependent? If you are the manager, try to first cancel your Family subscription and then subscribe to the Duo plan.

thanks for getting back at me.
Yes, I am the manager of the account.
My family plan expires on May, 16th. If i cancel my subscription now I just loose nearly a month, right?
If so, I'll just wait a couple of days before the expiration date.

Actually, even if you cancel the plan now, you will continue having access to the Premium service until the expiration date that is May 16th. However, considering it will be on the next month yet, I recommend that you wait until May to try to switch your plan. On May 15th, try to cancel your current plan (if you want to cancel it now, you can do it and you don't lose your Premium benefits) and subscribe to Premium Duo at the end of the expiration date of your current Premium Family.
