Switch to premium family

My Question or Issue:

Hello, I would like to subscribe to a premium family pack. My question is that my two children have already a premium one but my wife and I a free one. May I just subscribe to the family regarding that I pay with paypal monthly for the children? Or it is necessary to do something special with their account first (like desactivate paypal for them)? Spotify’s support articles have suggested users that pay with “another company” to cancel plans and wait for the premium to be up before joining a family plan. PayPal might fall in that category, so waiting for the end of their subscriptions may be the best route.
