Hey there,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
Premium plans are always paid in advance. Meaning that when a payment occurs, it's for the following month, not the month before that. When a plan switch from a cheaper to a more expensive plan happens, the switch, as you have seen, occurs instantaneously, but the last payment you have made was for the cheaper plan. This is why the next payment date is not the same as the previous one, but a bit sooner. The amount of how sooner the next payment will be is directly proportional to the price difference between the cheaper and the more expensive plan.
Hope this clears things a bit.
Cheers!
Hey @leonidasos,
Thanks for coming to the Community. 🙂
Payments are done in advance, so you'll pay for the next month on the mentioned payment date and not for the past month.
Hope this clears things up.
It's funny because I'm having the same problem with the dates. My current subscription ends on Sep 16th but if I change to Duo the new billing period starts on Sep 7th...
Does that mean that I loose the last week of my current plan?

Sure, thank you 🙂
Yeah, 2 days of difference in payment is not something that most people complain, but I'm premium customer from more than 5 years and I think that the loss should be considered in favor of the customer.
Why is there no normal support ? 😄
