Switching to a Family Account

My husband and I have seperate premium accounts, but I'd like to switch to a premium family account and add my work place. Will our playlists stay in our profiles or will we have to remake them all?

Yes, you will be able to keep your playlists with the family plan. You keep your accounts too. One account will sign up for the family plan, then the other account is invited to the plan.

The way Spotify Family works is that each person creates their own Spotify account first if they do not already have one. For everyone to create a Spotify account they will need their own email address.

Once everyone has their own Spotify account you then invite them to join your family plan and then they sign in with that account in the app. Make sure everyone enters the same home address when it asks for verification.
