The Family Plan isn't available as a trial period, however you can upgrade your account and after your 30- days trial period you'll be charged (for the Family Plan).
Family Spotify is like a normal Premium Account, every member of the family has a personal account, so your family doesn't have the same playslist.

You can make a playlist public or collaborative (to make it together), and your family will listen your music.
