My Question or Issue

I am trying to buy a family premium subscription plan... but failing. Since I cannot find a way to buy premium WITHOUT having a three month trial as part of the package.

 

Once upon a time I used a free trial period and did not continue subscribing.  Thus, it makes sense that I cannot use it again. Fair and square, and I am perfectly OK paying the small amount per month that family premium represents.

 

BUT... I cannot find a way to just buy the subscription WITHOUT the three-month trial. I have clicked around a lot, but as far as I can tell there is no "buy spotify family without the trial period" option available - which is what I need, since I just want to start paying immediately.

 

Right now, there is no way I can buy Spotify it seems since this trial period is part of all packages, but I am prevented from using it since I already used it.

Are you able to get Premium Family by going here and selecting the plan? If that doesn't help, could you try the same thing using a different browser or private window?

That looks like a useful place... exactly what I was looking for. From the Spotify Swedish home page, looks like there was no way to get to that page though.

 

However, I solved it in two steps:

  1. Upgrade the account to regular "Premium" (which I could do after clicking through from Premium+Trial and getting the error)
  2. Upgrade from Premium to Family Premium (which worked since the trial aspect was apparently out of the way by then)
