Trying to change my Country

Hello there, 

As it says in the title, I was trying to change my account region, I moved to another country and I don’t have bank account there yet, I bought a gift card there and tried to redeem it but it says my account isn’t at the same region the gift card is from, so I went to change the country and it refused to be changed unless I change my payment method, now I tried to remove the payment method and I couldn’t find any way to remove it, I searched a lot and all what I can see is to wait until my premium subscription is over, I’m afraid if I waited I will not be able to redeem the gift card, and the other problem is that it might renew automatically, so my 2 questions are:

1: can I change the country without a new payment method? 
2: can I stop the account from auto renewal. 
I found multiple posts here but all of them are outdated. So please if you have an idea how to solve this problem let me know.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

You'll have to cancel the recurring subscription, wait for it to run out and your account to revert to free. Afterwards you can change the country settings of the account and redeem the gift card.
