Tying to change payment method and country

I am trying to change both my payment method and country. I am trying to follow the workflow describe in the support docs, but it does not work. Here's what I'm doing:

  • Sign in to account

  • Go to payment; update

  • Fill in credit card information

  • Get error that payment and country don’t match

  • Select “Change country”

  • Select Canada

  • Get a screen that shows me subscribed to Premium Individual (I have been paying for family for years), still in the UK

  • If I try and change country again, I end up back here on the same page

  • Change plan gets me to “Pick your Premium”. Sometimes I see Canadian prices. Sometimes I see UK prices

  • Doing anything on this page gets me to the bright blue loose tape “We’re all mixed up” screen

I am using the web site in Safari on Mac OS Ventura. I am currently in Canada, but the account was set as UK. It was Canadian about five years ago, though, so I know I can change it

It should work the way you tried it, however, in some cases, those steps, unfortunately, don't work. In such a case, you'll need to cancel your subscription and wait for it to end.

 

Once it has ended, you'll be able to update your country setting by using the dropdown menu on your account page and then subscribing again using your new payment method.

I have the same problem.  I moved from Singapore to Australia.    I cannot enter new credit card details or change country.  If I cancel and resubscribe how will I get back all my Liked Songs and lists I have built ??

You keep your playlists and saved music when your account is free. You can also still log in and play with ads.

 

This is also stated on the support page I linked in my post above 🙂
