My Question or Issue

I just upgraded my account to duo so my wife can also use premium, but I can't register the account because I get the error that I'm trying to register the account from another country.

 

My own account is registered in The Netherlands, but I can't change the country when I update my payment method. I get an error saying: "Your payment method and country do not match." and I can't change the country of my account.

 

How do I change my country setting and why do I get the message that the address is incorrect? The addresses match and my main account has the german address.

 

Please help me.

Thanks for reaching out.


You should be able to update your account's country setting by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method. 
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region. 

Make sure that the payment method has been issued in Germany, otherwise it won't work. The changes will take effect from your next billing date, once successfully updated.
