Unable to purchase premium?

I have an american express card and I tried to purchase the $.99 deal but everytime I click "Start my spotify premium" it says that I need to try another payment.

No, I haven't purchased premium before. I had premium for about 7 days because of the free trial thing though.

Unfortunately, this $0.99 deal is only available to those that have never had Premium before, including the free trial.
