Unable to switch from family to Duo

Unable to switch from family to Duo

Hi there,

 

I'm currently on a premium family plan (UK)

Using iPhone 12 mini / Macbook pro 2013

iOS 14 / Mac OS 11

 

I'm looking to switch to Duo, as there's only two of us on the account, and I get the following message:

 

"Unable to change plans. This could be because you're not eligible for this plan, you're already on it, or you don't have a stored payment method."

 

I have tried the various solutions already reported on this site: with and without a VPN, on incognito mode and not, and on different devices. No luck.

 

Any help?

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

Could you please try to cancel your current subscription plan and then wait until your account reverts to the Free tier before trying to subscribe to Premium Duo again?

 

Try it and let me know how it does. Keep me posted 🙂
