Updated Premium Payment - Spotify dropped all of my shared members...

Been a subscriber for over a year and just had to update payment since my old credit card expired. I found this process extremely frustrating for a number of reasons.

  1. I could not simply update payment info - Spotify treated it as if I was signing up for premium for the first time. I would have preferred Spotify just treat it as a simple payment update instead of having to agree to all new terms & services.
  2. All of my members were dropped from the shared account - I now have to re-invite them to my account.
  3. All members are now required to enter their address & must share the same address with the home account?? Cmon Spotify. I'm already paying for your service, do you need to shamelessly money grab and force my brother, elderly folks, etc. to get their own accounts?

On top of that, i'm still inundated with all of the 'upgrade to premium' advertisements when I visit the homepage.

 

Might be time to switch to Apple music.
