Updating my credit card I receive" payment method and country don't match".

Updating my credit card I receive" payment method and country don't match".

my address is in the united states and my account is set to us. I am connecting from there, I never go anywhere else. my new credit card is a discover card issued in the US. Something is wrong and there is no where to report the bug that I can find other than ask the questions here.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

In this case, it's best to reach out to your card issuer so that they can check in which country the card was issued. Some card providers operate in several countries; therefore, the country where the card was issued isn't always identical to the one you live in.

 

Alternatively, you can try using a different payment method.

Checked with Discover. My card was issued to me in the United States and
my address with them is correct and matches my address listed on my Spotify
account. There are no declines on the card and they see no issues on
their end. This appear to be on you (Spotify).

This issue was forwarded to Spotify's tech folks who'll investigate further.

 

In the meantime, it's best to use a different payment method. 🙂
