I just upgraded my account to family premium but cannot add my family members.

Does it take time for an account to upgrade?

We'd recommend checking your subscription status with the steps here.

 

If you had a pre-paid Premium Individual subscription, you'll need to wait until that time runs out and your Family plan starts.

I suggest you to have look at this page, especially the part that says 'The invite isn't working'.

I think you misunderstood. I am the plan manager. As the plan manager, I am not able to invite other users to my account. I assumed the account page would just update with a new option.

If you are the plan manager you need to follow these steps in order to set up the Premium Family Plan:

 

- The plan’s manager can invite or remove members by logging into their Family page at https://www.spotify.com/account/family/invite/

 

- The invitee needs to log into (or sign up for) their own account to open an invite. 

 

- The plan's manager may need to log out first if they're on the same device.

 

Let me know where you have a problem.

 

 

Try making them sign into spotify on their web browser then sending them the link to enable them to join the family plan.

Sorry the link does not even load (screenshot attached. I tried logging out
and then logging in, but nothing. For further clarity, I am the plan
manager, but have not gotten access to the family features yet. That is my
issue.
