Used voucher on single account instead of family plan

Accidentally used a 3 month voucher on a single account. Thought it would automatically go to 2 months or the equivalent of a family plan. Is it possible to convert it to the same amount of money in a balance so I can use it for a family plan or can I get a refund of the voucher so I could just give it as a gift.

Vouchers / gift cards cannot be used with promotions, student plans, and family plans. Vouchers / gift cards can only be redeemed towards the normal premium plan.
