Using paypal to pay for premium not working without creditcard/bank issue.

My Question or Issue

So i have purchased regular spotify premium before through Paypal, however now when i was going to refresh my subscription it would not let me, telling me i need to connect a bank account/card and it has never asked me this before, after my frustration with that i noticed that i could pay for, for example 3 months premium without the need to tie myself to a subscription model, which is why i guess it requires me to connect card/bank to my paypal, but with the 3 monts of paypal without the subscription there was not option to pay with paypal. I dont know about others, but i have always used paypal to avoid getting any type of credit card that would cost me monthly, hence my frustration with the paypal issue.
