Verifying student and free trial inquiry

Im done with Itunes, i've struggled for years to deal with its terrible program and today I decided enough is enough, im willing to pay the 5$ a month to free myself from Apple's cage. 

I had to go through a verification process where I uploaded proof of enrollment but it said that it may take three days to verify. 

This is AFTER I entered my credit card details, I was under the imperession either a month free trial would commense and the verification would come in for the next month or that it would let me enjoy premium while its verifying

I am not willing to wait three days. Either tell me I will have to wait or take my credit card after verificastion. 

So my question is, how long does this verification process usually take (can I count on less time) or is there someone I can talk to or email for use of premium now. 

Or can I at least have SOME sort of indication that i've gone through the student premium process? After all the forms and uploading documents I was returned to the home page with absolutly no indication that my account was pending and I entered my credit card info again thinking maybe I hadnt completed the process. 

This process made me really uneasy and coming from Itunes I am not in the mood to deal with any more bumps in the road.

The verification process can take up to 72 hours. Be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox as well as your spam/junk folders.

About a trial, you won't be eligible for one since you've already been Premium through iTunes.
