Visa prepaid card payment not working

I recently got a Visa prepaid gift card, which i’ve been trying to use to resubscribe to premium. Each time i type in my info, it says the payment failed. I’ve tried multiple times, and i’ve tried scanning the card to make sure there was no human error. I registered the card online and it says the status is active- should i just wait, is it an issue with Spotify or Visa?
