IM BEING CHARGED 9.99 AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH AND 5.99 TOWARDS THE END OF THE MONTH

The different billing dates and amounts signify that you most likely have more than one active subscription across different accounts.
The 5.99 looks like Premium Student & the 9.99 should be a Premium Individual.
