Why am I being charged for "free premium until January" with Rogers?

Why am I being charged for "free premium until January" with Rogers?

I have an offer from Rogers saying that I would get a free subscription to Spotify premium until January 4, 2018 so I signed up for it.  I just checked my bill and I have been charged for the free offer... Twice!? I talked to Rogers and they told me Spotify bills me independantly from them and to contact Spotify, hence this message. I signed in and out of Spotify but it still doesn't show that I have Premium... Please help!

Let's try to figure this out. Can you follow these steps for us?

 

  • Check your subscription page. Your status should be Premium.
  • If you're on Premium, try reinstalling the app with the steps here.
  • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.
