Why am I not eligible for three mo free premium while I received an offer?

I have receive a free 3 month premium offer. I try to upgrade but I received a message that I am not eligible.

The current 3 month Premium offer is for people that haven't tried Premium before - new subscribers. It's possible that you see the promotion for this on Spotify's home page when you're not logged in because the site can't track if you've had a subscriptions before. Sorry if that has caused any confusion!

If log in and you've tried Premium, then you'll get an error message that you're not eligible for the offer.

If you haven't been a subscriber before, then you should be able to get the 3 months - we recommend trying to subscribe in a different browser or in an incognito window to avoid any issues caused by the saved cache or cookies.
