Why am I still hearing ads and commercials now that I have premium?

I ordered Spotify premium 3 days ago on 9/8/24, but I still hear ads and commercials all the time. When do these ads stop because I thought premium would have no ads?

If you're using the Spotify mobile app, can you please open it and go into Settings and click on Account? Does it say Free or Premium there?

If it says Free, then you're most likely logged into the wrong account. You should've received an email containing your receipt, which should also state the username Premium was bought for.
