Why are there commercial on premium account?

Hi, i pay for a premium account. Several of the podcasts I listen to regularly begins with, gets interrupted by and ends with commercials. Why is that? As a premium customer I pay for the content not to contain commercials and advertising.

While Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.

People always answer with this, but it isn't correct.

A podcast I listen to reads out advertisements from it's sponsors. That's fine. What I'm sure they don't do though is allow themselves to be cut off mid sentence for an advert from Spotify or Shopify which is what I am getting continuously.

I agree.. I pay for my account and I DO NOT want any commercials. I will listen to podcasts elsewhere!
