Why can I only pay the student discount premium option with creditcard?

I was very excited to see there was a student discount for Spotify! They did it, they persuade me in paying for a premium service. Full confidence I clicked through all the buttons to get to the first purchase panel, to find out that the only paying option is a creditcard?! Why? I can pay for every other option with other services, except the student discount one. That is a little bit strange. Will there eventually be more options to pay for it?
