Why can’t I join to the Duo plan my son has opened?

Why can’t I join to the Duo plan my son has opened?

My son and I live in the same address but when I try to join the Duo plan it says “You need to live in the same address. Looks like you are trying from another country”. But that’s not true, we are currently in the same address but it still doesn’t work. What do I need to do?

You're seeing that specific error mesaage because the country setting on both accounts simply doesn't match. 🙂

 

The country setting can be checked at https://www.spotify.com/account/profile/.
