Why do i see suggestions based on my partners account on duo plan?

Why do i see suggestions based on my partners account on duo plan?

I upgraded my plan from premium to premium duo, and added my wifes Spotify account to the plan. I expect NOT to see any artist/album/song suggestions based on her play history, which are mostly music for our kids.

 

They are in Release Radar and Discover Weekly playlists also, which made me to stop listening these kind of auto-generated playlists, sadly.

 

Are there any settings to play with to avoid this, or am i in the wrong plan?

Hi @vadig, thanks for writing!

 

The Spotify accounts, even if in the Duo or Family plan, are completely individual, independent from each other.

 

If you're getting unrelated recommendations from what you listen, my first suggestion is that you and your wife double check the devices you use, to see if you both are correctly logged in your own accounts. If so, your Release Radar and Discovery Weekly should come back to "normal" in a few weeks.
