Will my father keep his playlists if we start a Premium Duo plan together?

Solved!

Will my father keep his playlists if we start a Premium Duo plan together?

My father has been using Spotify for free for years now. I already use my own Spotify Premium Individual account and I would like to switch to a Duo plan with him as we live together. Will my father keep his playlists, saved music, follows if I start this new Duo plan as a manager and add him as a member?

Hi @wikibiswiki,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

No worries, you keep your same Spotify account no matter which plan you switch to or from. So yes, your father will keep his playlists, saved music, and follows if he joins your Premium Duo plan.

You can sign up for Premium Duo as the plan manager here, and then invite your father to the plan by following these steps

Note that members can only switch between different Premium Duo or Premium Family plans once a year.

Feel free to read more about switching between different subscription plans in this support article.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
