Solved!! Premium user listening to free user playlist

If I have a premium account but want to listen to my friend's playlist, who has the free version and has to listen to ads, do I have to listen to ads if I listen to a playlist made on the account of a free user?

Being charged even though i undubscribed

Bought 3 months but want to change plans...

I bought 3 months of premium, then the next day found out about the family plan amd I'd like to switch to that. Is there a way I can cancel the 3 mnths I payed for, or upgrade and use that money towards the family plan? Thanks for any help!
