Change plan when on a giftcard

I have Spotify Premium paid with a Gift Card that will last for 2 more months. If i change to Duo, will the lasting time de-crease or will the time remain the same? Regards

I looked at the help. It said to log out of facebook, which I did. I signed out of everything (signout everywhere). But I still can't access my email to edit it. Any ideas what to do next?thanksclem
