Replaced Credit Card cannot resubscribe to Premium

I recently canceled the credit card associated with my Spotify Premium account and now I'm stuck on a Free account.Spotify won't let me resubscribe to Premium with a different credit card, when I try I get a 'Payment Method Failed' message.
