credit card and country don't match

I have a German account, but I would like to pay with a Swiss credit card because my German one is not valid anymore. But it doesn't allow/accept the card. What can I do? I am traveling (currently in Nicaragua) so I can also not change the country to Switzerland.

I just want to have my premium account back and pay with my cc.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, you must use a payment method that's been issued in Germany as you would only be able to use the one from Switzerland if you were actually in that country and have updated your country setting.

It’s a bit ridiculous. I can not even log in anymore because I am traveling and not in Germany or Switzerland. And there is not chat/helpdesk. Really unsatisfying, total disappointment.

Thanks for getting back.

You should always be able to log in at https://spotify.com/account, even if your country setting doesn't match the current country you're in. If you get an error message while trying to log in, please share the exact one you're getting.
