end of vodafone spotify - how to revert to payinf spotify direct

Hi, my inclusive spotify/vodafone contract ends today, and vodafone tell me that they will charge me for it from now on.  However, I don't think I'll be staying with vodafone so I want to know how I can go about paying spotify direct for my spotify premium account, which I'd been using for years prior to getting it included with my vodafone contract.

To subscribe to Premium directly through us:

1. Contact Vodafone and cancel your subscription with them. 
2. Wait until your current monthly subscription expires. You can check the status of this on your account page at http://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/.
3. Once your account has been reverted back to Free, head over to http://www.spotify.com/premium and resubscribe.
