Hey @yousername-,

Thanks for reaching out.

If your kids already have their own Spotify accounts, you can log in to one of them and start a Premium Duo plan here.

If they’re old enough but don’t have accounts yet, they can sign up here. Once they’re signed up, you can follow the same steps mentioned above.

However, if they’re not old enough to create their own accounts, it won’t be possible to do the steps described above. In this case, you could create an account for yourself, subscribe to Premium Family and if Spotify Kids is available in your country, you’ll be able to set up Spotify Kids profiles for both of them.

I hope this clears things up! Let me know if you need more help. 🙂

thanks for your reply, but what does old enough mean, they are 12 and 14? I want to give it as a christmas gift to them.
I find it a bit strange that should I pay more to get a family account while I don't want that, I have no use for spotify I only listen to the traditional radio. Can't I just pay the bill and that's the end of it, like a voucher or credit card?

Hey @yousername-,

Thanks for getting back 🙂

Spotify is generally designed for listeners aged 13 and above, although the minimum age requirement can vary depending on your location. You can find the specific minimum age for your country during the sign-up process.

If your kids are under the minimum age, they can use Spotify Kids, which is available exclusively through a Premium Family plan. To set this up, you’ll need to create a regular Spotify account (if you don’t already have one), and this account must be created by someone who meets the minimum age requirement in your country/region.

If one of your kids does meet the age requirement, they can create their own Spotify account and you can use it to subscribe to Premium Family.

Alternatively, you can use the account you’re currently posting from to subscribe to Premium Family, then invite eligible accounts or create Spotify Kids profiles for your children.

Hope this helps to clear things up! Let me know if you have any other questions.
