I live in the UK and so does my dad (the owner of the spotify account) and we have tried many times to add my account to the family sharing yet it doesnt let me because apparently I am in another country to my dad. I cannot change the settings of my location because it doesnt let me unless I put my creddit card details in, I have already tried putting my creddit details in and it just charged me for a second premium and didn't even change my location. I've cancelled the premuim because my dad is already paying for one and all I want to do is join my dad's spotify family, not own a second premuim account. Please help.

Hey @flloss,

 

Most of those problems come from a difference between the country shown through your IP address, and the one in your profile.

 

First, check your IP address here.

After that, compare it to the country shown in your profile.
 
If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.
 
Finally, your payment method (if you used one for Premium) must match your country too, so you may need to delete it to update countries.
 
Change your country setting in your profile page so it matches what your IP address shows, which should be the same as your dad's.
