multiple premium accounts to family plan

I just signed up for a family premium plan and sent invites to my sons who have premium plans of their own.  When they accept the invite will the paid premium plan they have directly from Spotify cancel automatically.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. No, they will have to go into their Spotify account and cancel their subscription. Then they will be able to join.

If you’re managing a Family plan, your new payment date will likely be a few days earlier than usual to cover the price difference between Individual Premium and Premium Family.

For all the other members joining the Premium Family plan, all subsequent payments on your account are made by the plan’s manager (you). Any remaining Premium time they have is forfeited.

Keep in mind, if you already have Premium through another company, you first need to cancel and wait for your current Premium to end.
