"3 month free premium"

So spotify showed an ad for 3 month free premium but when I subscripted it still took 9.99€ of my bank account. Why is that? Didn't I get my 3 month free premium or what?

It's either one of the following:

• Your account already had Premium before.
• Your payment method was already used to pay for Premium or get a trial before.

As @引きこもり mentioned, if you previously had Premium (or another trial), you won't be able to take advantage of the 3 months for free offer. There's more info on this support site article.
