Why am I getting this message when I am attempting to sign up for a student subscription? How does it go about verifying this information? My account is made with my student email address.

Spotify uses "Sheer ID" as academic verification partner. They have a database of currently-enrolled students that they use to verify your info. Having an .edu or any other academic email address does not affect the verification process.

Please double check your info (College name, DOB, etc.) on the verification page.
